Geography

Long tube located in Tulln at the Great Tulln, just a few kilometers southwest of the town of Tulln in the region " Lower Austria Center". Formerly the district, at least south of the Danube, attributed to the Most district. The area of ​​the municipality covers 22.57 square kilometers, 17.87 percent are forested. By Long tube extends the Große Tulln.

History

Population Development

According to the results of the census, there were 1148 inhabitants in 1971, 1 521 inhabitants in 1981, 1 674 inhabitants in 1991 and 1974 inhabitants in 2001.

Museums

The Joseph Reither museum is the only one in a long tube. In the museum you can learn about the life of Joseph Reithers, the time during the Nazi era and the period thereafter.

Tourism

Thanks to the Great Tulln long tube has a nice bike path that runs to the Tulln. Even after the end of the river can be seen on the Donaulende cycle further to Vienna. SV Langenrohr

In Langenrohr the football club SV Langenrohr is located. The club was founded in 1947 and plays in the first NÖN national league, the fourth highest league in Austria since 1993.
