Laona is a settlement on community- free area in Forest County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. For statistical purposes, the place has been combined to form a census-designated place (CDP). In 2010 Laona had 583 inhabitants.
Geography
Laona is located in northeastern Wisconsin, approximately 50 km south of the border to Michigan. The geographical coordinates are 45 ° 33'53 Laona " north latitude and 88 ° 40'26 " west longitude. The urban area extends over an area of 5.05 km ² and is the center of the Town of Laona.
