Larisa Peleshenko

Larissa Alexandrovna Peleschenko (Russian Лариса Александровна Пелешенко, English transcription Larisa Peleshenko; . * February 29, 1964 in Slanzy ) is a former Russian shot putter.

She finished ninth at the World Championships in Stuttgart and 1994 Fifth at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1993.

The following year, a four -year ban was imposed on them for doping and her World Champion title stripped from the World Indoor Championships in 1995.

In 2000, she won the title at the European Indoor Championships in Ghent, presented on August 26 in Moscow with 21.46 m personal best on and won at the Olympic Games in Sydney, the silver medal behind Janina Karoltschyk (BLR ) and before Astrid Kumbernuss (GER ).

In 2001, she won gold at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon and was fourth at the World Championships in Edmonton.
