Lars Ardelius
Lars Ardelius ( born November 1, 1926 in Falun, † July 23, 2012 in Visby ) was a Swedish writer.
Life
The versatile active Ardelius worked as a sailor, art lecturer and teacher. These occupations have left a significant trace in his realistic depictions presence. From 1982 to 1984 he was the spokesman of the Swedish Writers' Association. He debuted in 1958 with the short story collection Dagligt Allehanda. In addition to prose, short stories and a number of historical and autobiographical novels he wrote pieces for theater and television. He has received numerous awards for his oral storytelling.
Ardelius lived in Sigtuna.
