Lars Bak Ytting ( born January 16, 1980 in Silkeborg ) is a Danish cyclist.

Cycling career

In 2002, Bak professional cyclist with the Danish cycling team EDS Fakta. He celebrated his first professional success in 2004 as a member of the Dutch team Bankgiroloterij with a stage win in the Tour de Luxembourg. In 2005 he moved to CSC and had its most successful year in which he spwie next to a stage in the Mediterranean itinerary of a stage and the overall classification of the Tour de l' Avenir also won the one-day race Paris - Bourges. In addition, he was Danish Champion in the road race. In 2007, he decided, after he had won the national title in the time trial, a stage of the Tour de la Région Wallonne for themselves. The victory at the Danish Championships he repeated the following year. With the team, he also won the team time trial of the Tour of Poland. Since 2010 Lars Bak riding for the High Road team. At the Giro d' Italia 2011, he won the team time trial with the team. In 2012 he won at the Tour of Italy as a soloist in Sestri Levante and celebrated the biggest success of his career.

Honors

In December 2011, Lars Bak was elected to the Danish " Cyclists of the Year".
