Jakob Piil

Jakob Storm piil ( born March 9, 1973 in Lyngby - Taarbæk ) is a former Danish racing cyclist.

The focus of Piils cycling career was initially on the endurance disciplines on the track. At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, he raced in the team pursuit and in Sydney in 2000 with Jimmi Madsen in a two - team driving. He played a total of 29 six-day races, of which he won two.

Jacob piil was nine times Danish Champion in various disciplines of road and rail, including 2001 national title holder in the road race. In 2002 he won Paris -Tours. Four times he competed in the Tour de France; In 2003, he decided the tenth stage of its own.
