Lars-Eric Lundvall

Lars -Eric Lundvall ( born April 3, 1934 in Karlskoga ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player.

Career

Lars -Eric Lundvall began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the IFK Bofors, for the first team, he was from 1950 to 1955 in Division 1, the then highest Swedish league, Division 2, and the second-class active. For the 1955/56 season the winger was signed from Södertälje SK, with whom he became Swedish Champion right away. After another season in Södertälje, he played one year for his hometown club IFK Bofors before he stood from 1958 to 1960 again for the Södertälje SK in Division 1 on the ice. Finally, the Swede ran from 1960 to 1968 on the Västra Frölunda IF, with whom he also won the national title in the season 1964/65.

Internationally

For Sweden Lundvall participated in the Olympic Winter Games 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, 1960 in Squaw Valley and 1964 in Innsbruck part. At the Winter Games in 1964 he won the silver medal with his team. In addition, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in 1957, 1958, 1962, 1963 and 1965. At the World Championships in 1957 and 1962, he won with his team the gold medal each. As the best European team Sweden was also each European champions. At the World Championships in 1958 and 1965 he won the bronze at the 1963 World Championships silver medal with his team.
