Larvik HK
Larvik Håndballklubb is a Norwegian women's handball club from Larvik. The first team plays in the Norwegian Elite Series, winning fourteen times this. In 2000, the association had 250 members.

History
Larvik Håndballklubb ( Larvik HK) was founded on 31 May 1990 when the two clubs Larvik Turn & IF and IF jibe merged.
With Marit Breivik, who later became coach of the successful Norwegian women's national handball team, and later under Gunnar Pettersen, former coach of the Norwegian men's national handball team, Larvik HK quickly rose to the center of the Norwegian women handball. In 1994, the team won the Norwegian championship for the first time. Currently, the team is coached by Ole Gustav Gjekstad.
After the turn of the millennium benefited Larvik HK from increasing Kräfteverschub in European women's club handball for the benefit of the Danish league. For example, the Scandinavian women's handball won basically important and also Larvik HK caused increased sensation in the European Cup. So, the team sought with the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2005 as the first women's handball team at all a European Cup to Norway. 2008 Larvik HK to win the European Cup Winners' Cup again. The biggest success came in the 2010/2011 season by winning the EHF Champions League.
On his website Larvik HK called as a vision to become the best team in the world ( verdens best lag).
Larvik HK used for a long time the peculiarity together the youth teams not by age group; until 2005, the club decided to adapt to the modern standard.
