The run- Eck is a 2,178 m high mountain peaks grass in the Allgäu Alps. It is located southeast of laughter and head north of Rotkopfs, from which it is separated by the Laufbacher -Eck - saddle. About this saddle the trail from Edmund- Probst- house runs to the Prinz-Luitpold -Haus. At maturity Eck branches off to the northeast side comb with the peaks Salober, Berggächtle and gable from.

The running Eck can be reached easily in just a few minutes from Laufbacher -Eck - saddle. It offers excellent views of the Höfats, the thumb group, the Allgäu main ridge and the mountains surrounding the small valley.

The Botany of Laufbacher Ecks is similarly diverse as that of Höfats or worm. Therefore will help all at the Höfats during the summer months a post of mountain rescue for the protection of rare plants.
