Laura Sánchez (diver)

Laura Aleida Sánchez Soto (born 16 October 1985 in Mexico City) is a Mexican Water Diving. It starts both in art and in diving. In 3 -meter synchro competitions she jumps together with Paola Espinosa.

Sánchez took so far participated in two Olympic Games. 2004 in Athens, she was with Espinosa Fifth in 3 -meter synchronized diving, in Beijing in 2008 she went to the art of jumping from the 3 -meter board and was tenth.

Your athletic biggest success so far achieved Laura Sanchez at the 2003 World Cup in Barcelona. Along with Espinosa, she won a bronze medal in 3 -meter synchronized diving. Also at Pan American Games she won medals. 2003 in Santo Domingo two silver medals in the 3- m and 10 -m synchronized diving and 2007 in Rio de Janeiro silver from the 3 -meter board and gold in the 3 -meter synchronized diving. At the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai Sixth Sánchez from the 3 -meter board, reaching its best-ever individual placing at the World Championships. At the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara, she won gold in the individual from the 3 -meter board and with Espinosa in the 3 -meter synchronized diving.
