Laurence Naismith

Laurence Naismith ( born December 14, 1908 in Thames Ditton, Surrey, England; † June 5, 1992 in Southport, Queensland, Australia ) was a British actor.

Naismith was ahead of its time as an actor, which began in 1927 on the stage, in the Navy. During the Second World War he was a soldier from 1939 to 1946 he performed service in the Royal Artillery. Then the always worried three looking Naismith debuted in mostly positive roles in the West End and launched a more than 70 roles extensive film and television career. He became known in the lead roles to a wide audience through his supporting role in the British 1970s cult series The Two with Tony Curtis and Roger Moore.

He was married to actress Christine Bocca since 1939 until his death; which is also working as an actor Woody Naismith is his grandson.
