Lawson (Band)

Lawson is a British pop-rock band.

Biography

The four members from various English towns learned about the college and MySpace know and closed in 2009 in London. Initially they called themselves nor by The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles. The name they chose Lawson later in honor of the surgeon who had removed a brain tumor at Andy Brown. About Pubauftritte and festivals they worked their way up and took advantage of it and Internet platforms such as YouTube for self-promotion. They were hired as the opening act for performances by Avril Lavigne and Will Young and 2012 were the opening act in the UK tour of The Wanted. At their first own concert in Brighton itself reported a record label and they signed in July of the same year by Polydor.

Then they toured twice through the UK and with Grammy winner John Shanks produced it in Los Angeles, their debut album. They were able to rely on their own songs which were written primarily by Andy Brown. Their first single, When She Was Mine, published in June 2012 and Lawson came with it immediately ranked 4 in the UK charts, the successor Taking Over Me still got a place a higher. The end of October appeared the album Chapman Square. First the third single was released Standing in the Dark.
