Le Noyer (Savoie)

Le Noyer is a town in the French department of Savoie in the Rhone -Alpes.

Geography

Le Noyer is located at 850 m above sea level. M., about 17 km northeast of the town of Chambery (air line). The mountain village is located in the northwest of the Savoie département, in the massif of the Wallows, in the valley of the Ruisseau de Saint -François across from Saint -François- de-Sales, between the heights of Mont Revard Mont Margeriaz in the west and in the southeast.

Attractions

The village church of Le Noyer was built in the 19th century. In the center several houses in the typical Savoyard style have been preserved.

Population

With 191 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) Le Noyer is one of the smallest municipalities of the department of Savoie. After the population declined sharply in the first half of the 20th century, a slight increase in population was recorded since the early 1990s again.
