Léa Lemare

Lea Lemare (born 21 June 1996 Albertville ) is a French ski jumper.

Career

Lea Lemare debuted on August 8, 2009 in a Continental Cup competitions in Bischofsgruen. She finished her first season on the 68th. Apart from the competitions in the Continental she also took part in the Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten, where they reached in the individual ranking the 36th. At the Junior World Championships 2011 at the Estonian Otepaeae it landed on the 22nd place. She was then added to the squad for the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo. When jumping from the normal hill she was 33 In summer 2011, she scored at a Continental Cup in Oberwiesenthal with the second rank their first and only placement on the podium. Since the winter season 2011/12 Lea Lemare participates in World Cup competition.

Together with their teammates Coline Mattel, Julia Clair and Oceane Avocat Gros she won the silver medal in the team competition on the normal hill at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec Junior. The French ski jumping championships in 2013 she won the normal hill in Chaux -Neuve, the title and the mixed team bronze.

With the Olympic debut of women's ski jumping she was ranked 20th
