Lee Kang-seok

Lee Kang- seok (born 28 February 1985 in Uijeongbu ) is a South Korean speed skater. He is a specialist in the sprint distances.

In November 2005, Lee won his first World Cup in Milwaukee over 500 meters. By 2006, followed by two more wins and several podiums. In the 2005/06 season he also won the overall World Cup over 500 meters. At the Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006, he reached over 500 meters the bronze medal behind Joey Cheek and Dmitry Dorofeev. At the Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver Lee missed a medal in fourth place just barely.
