Les Davies

Leslie Elias Davies ( born October 29, 1984 in Bangor) is a Welsh footballer. He plays in the storm of the Welsh first division side Bangor City.

With Bangor City won the Welsh Cup and Davies 2008, 2009 and 2010, the Welsh Cup in 2011. The frequently referred to by the public as "Big Les " Davies played with 27 in 2010/ 11 in the Welsh League with 16 goals his most successful season.

Davies also played for the U- 18, U -21 and U -23 semi-professional team of Welsh.

Leslie Davies was nominated as one of 32 candidates for the Player of the Year UEFA in the season 2011/ 12, which caused at numerous football fans and journalists for amazement. Until then, Davies had completed just two games in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and no 'A' game.

Dave Jones, a journalist for the Daily Post, wrote a article about known to have Davies nominated, because this was after Jones ' view of the best player in the League of Wales in the 2011/12 season and gained more attention. From each of the 53 UEFA member countries a journalist had suggested a ranking list of five players.
