Lesnica (Slovakia)
Lesnica ( Leschnitz German, Hungarian Erdős - to 1902 Lesnicz ) is a municipality in the north-eastern Slovakia. It is situated in the Pieniny near the Dunajec River on the border with Poland, about 22 km from Stara Ľubovňa.
The village was first mentioned in 1297 as Leznice.
Today the church is one of the starting places in the Pieniny National Park.
