Levan ( Albanian: Levani ) is a town in the district of Fier about seven kilometers south-west of Fier in Albania. The community Levan has 8159 inhabitants. In 2001, yet 11,536 inhabitants ( 2001) were recorded.

Levan is in the south of the great Myzeqe level at the foot of some buttresses of the hills of Mallakastra. About four miles to the south flows the Vjosa, one of the largest rivers in southern Albania. The area around Levan is very reliant on agriculture: To the south, to the river and west to the Adriatic Sea, many hectares cultivated agricultural land cover. The main crops are cereals, maize, potatoes, tomatoes and other vegetables. Also grapes for wine-making are cultivated sporadically.
