Level E

Level E (JapaneseレベルE) is a written by Yoshihiro Togashi science fiction manga series, which was published in the years 1995 to 1997. It pursues a humorous way the exploits of a prince who is like many other aliens unnoticed on the earth as a guest. The only consisting of sixteen chapters series was adapted in 2011 by an eponymous anime television series, which was directed by Toshiyuki Kato in the studios Studio Pierrot and David Production.

Action

Without the knowledge of the people live on earth now several thousand aliens who come from all areas of the galaxy. One day the fugitive from his native prince of the planet Dogra crashes to the ground. Baka Ki El Dogra (バカ=キ=エル·ドグラ, Baka Ki Eru Dogura ), as he is called complete, then seeks refuge in the young baseball players and students Yukitaka Tsutsui (筒 井 雪隆, Tsutsui Yukitaka ). It is noticeable that the prince in spite of human appearance is a strange creature. So both get each other rapidly, which the neighbor and classmate Miho Edogawa (江 戸 川 美 歩, Edogawa Miho ) gets wind. Gradually, they have to realize that the prince despite its name - a pun because baka - ōji (バカ 王子) can be translated both as " Prince Baka " or "dumb Prince" - very well planned in advance and they basically all are only part of his plans.

This gets especially his bodyguard, under the command of Captain Power (クラフト 隊長, Kurafuto taicho ) to feel that every time he again around by the nose, what force drives the extent that he would kill the prince prefers itself.

Manga

The manga Level E was written and drawn by Yoshihiro Togashi. It consists of a total of sixteen chapters which was starting with the 42nd edition of the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump published by Shueisha in the years 1995 to 1997. The chapters are grouped into three tankōbon editions which appeared from 1996 to 1997. The manga was re-released in two editions in 2009 as part of the Shueisha Jump Remix series.

Anime

The manga series was adapted by Studio Pierrot and David Production, directed by Toshiyuki Kato than thirteen episodes comprehensive anime television series in 2011. The first broadcast of the series began on the night of the 11th January 2011 ( and thus on the previous TV day ) on TV Tokyo. A few days later also started the transmitter TV Aichi, TV Osaka, AT- X, BBC and Kagoshima TV with the broadcast. The last episode was first broadcast on April 5, 2011. Likewise, the series was offered as a simulcast on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.

Beginning February 23, 2011, the series in Japan to be published on a total of six media that appear in approximately monthly intervals.
