Lezgic languages
The lesgischen languages are a subgroup of the ( Northeast Caucasian ) nachisch - Dagestani language family. The main bulk of speakers of these languages live in the autonomous republic of Dagestan ( Russian Federation), a substantial proportion but also in Azerbaijan.

The Chinalugische is alternatively classified as a single language within the nachisch - Dagestani languages.
From the Soviet nationality policy, the speakers of these languages were merged to form the titular Lezgins, which meant that they had to use Lezgian as font and language of instruction. However, alignment of these nations failed to Lezgins, therefore, they are again today as independent nations.
