Lidečko

Lidečko ( German Lideczko, 1939-1945 Klein Litsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers northeast of Valašské Klobouky and belongs to Okres Vsetín.

Geography

Lidečko is located at the transition between the Javorníky, the Vizovická Highlands and the White Carpathian Mountains on the southern edge of the Park PLA Beskydy. The village stretches along the river Senice. To the north of the Kopce or Vrchkopec rise ( 699 m), Ostra hora (622 m) and Straz (619 m) ​​, in the northeast of Hradisko (773 m) and the Obecnice ( 758 m ) east of the Mikuličův vrch (664 m) and Čubův kopec (720 m), in the southeastern Tisůvek (640 m), Čubek ( 678 m), Díl ( 685 m) and Stráň (607 m ) west of the Vrátnice (680 m) and in the northwest the Krajčice ( 729 m ). North of the village, the Lomensko - pass located between the Javorníky and Vizovická Highlands. Lidečko situated on the state road I/57 between Vsetín and Valašské Klobouky to be expanded in the future for highway R 49 in the section to Horni Lideč. Through the village leads the railway line Bylnice - Vsetín, in which the station is located Lidečko ves in the lower village. The Lidečko station is located three kilometers north of the village.

History

In the founding document of the monastery were Smilheim on August 20, 1261 by the castellan of Brumov, Smil Zbraslav and Střílky Upper and Lower Ludsch listed as the boundary of the monastic possessions. In 1790 Lidecko consisted of 123 houses and had 958 inhabitants. 1834 lived in 141 houses in the village 982 people. Since 1872, the community was called Lidečko / Lideczko. Lidečko had 1900 1159 inhabitants in the year. Bylnice - In the years 1923 and 1928 this rail link was established Vsetín.
