In office love Rose / Upper Spreewald, Lower Office Luboraz / Górne Błota, located in the municipality Straupitz eight municipalities are merged to complete their administrative business. The Office was created in 2003 from the merger of the offices love Rose and Upper Spreewald.

Geographical location

The Office is located in the east of the district of Dahme -Spreewald in Brandenburg ( Germany ) and is bordered to the north by the official free communities diver and Friedland ( Lower) ( Oder-Spree district ) in the east and southeast by the municipality and Schenkendöbern ( Spree- Neisse ), to the south by the offices Peitz and Burg (Spreewald ), on the southwest by the official free Lübbenau, on the west by the official free city Lubben and the municipality and Heideblick.

The municipalities with its districts

The office is made up of eight municipalities ( after the main statutes)

  • Alt Zauche - Wußwerk with the districts of Alt Zauche ( Stara Niwa ) and Wußwerk ( Wozwjerch )
  • Byhleguhre - Byhlen, Lower BELA Gora - Belin, with the hamlets Byhleguhre ( BELA Gora ) and Byhlen ( Belin )
  • Jamlitz with the districts Leeskow ( Łazk ) and Ullersdorf ( Ullerojce )
  • City Love rose with the districts Blasdorf ( Brjazka ) Doberburg ( Dobrośice ), Goshen ( Chošćišća ) and Trebitz ( Trjebac )
  • New Zauche, Lower Nowa Niwa, with the hamlets Briesensee ( Brjazyna nad jazorom ) and Caminchen ( Kamjenki )
  • Schwieloch with the districts Goyatz ( Gojac ) Jessern ( Jaserń ) Lamsfeld large Liebitz ( Njagluz - Wjelike Libice ), Mokhov ( Mokhov ) Ressen - Zaue ( Rjasne - Cowje ) and Speichrow ( Spěcharjow )
  • Spreewaldheide with the hamlets of slugs ( Bucyn ) Laasow ( Łaz ) Sacrow ( Zakrjow ) and Waldow ( Waldow )
  • Straupitz, Lower Tšupc

History

The Office Love Rose / Upper Spreewald was created in 2003 by the merger of the offices in 1992 formed Love Rose and Upper Spreewald. The former Office Love Rose had last three communities, the Office Oberspreewald five communities. The last municipal mergers were only at the same time quite effective with the merger of the two offices.

The communities Byhleguhre - Byhlen, New Zauche and Straupitz are officially bilingual.

Demographics

Since the 19th century the population of the present territory of the Office is declining. Only those displaced from the eastern territories and the bombed gave the region in the mid 20th century a population boost. For the future, is expected to further sharp fall.
