The Office Burg (Spreewald ), Lower Office Borkowy ( Błota ), based in the town of Burg (Spreewald ), the administrative business of six autonomous communities.
The Office is in the northwest of the district of Spree- Neisse in Brandenburg ( Germany ). It is bordered to the west by the official free cities Lübbenau / Spreewald and Vetschau / Spreewald ( Oberspreewald - Lausitz), on the north by the Office Love Rose / Upper Spreewald ( Dahme- Spreewald), to the east by the county-level city of Cottbus and the northeast by the Office Peitz and on the south by the municipality of Kolkwitz own county.
History
The Office Burg (Spreewald ) was formed on 16 July 1992, the municipalities Briesen, Burg (Spreewald ), Dissen, Fehrow, Guhrow, Müschen Schmogrow, STRIESOW and advertising. First, the authorities of the official administration were still distributed over several communities before 1997, the administration in Burg (Spreewald) was concentrated. Since, according to the guidelines of the State of Brandenburg may no longer continue to exist independently municipalities with less than 500 inhabitants, the number of municipalities decreased after 31 December 2001. Müschen was in the town of Burg (Spreewald) incorporated and Dissen and STRIESOW and Fehrow and Schmogrow joined together in each case.
