Dissen-Striesow
Dissen - STRIESOW, Lower desno - Strjažow, is a municipality in the district of Spree- Neisse in Brandenburg. It belongs to the office castle on (Spreewald), which has its headquarters in the town of Burg (Spreewald). In the district of Dissen In 1995, 28.9 % of the population Sorbian.

Geographical Location
The municipality is located in the southeast of Brandenburg in Lower Lusatia in the traditional settlement area of the Sorbs / Wends.

History
1449 Dissen is first mentioned in a document as part of the Mark Brandenburg. 1464 STRIESOW is mentioned as Straza documented. The municipality was created on 31 December 2001, from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Dissen and STRIESOW.
