Like a Lady ( German: "Like a Lady ") is a dance -electro- pop song by the German girl group Monrose. The song was released as the first single from the album Ladylike.

Background information

Like a Lady is the first single from the album Ladylike and was published on 28 May 2010 at the German-speaking countries. The song was written by Alexander Komlew, Ercola, Risto Asikainen and Zippy Davis and produced by German production team Tuneverse.

The song had 54 Premiere at The Dome. On 10 June 2010 Like a Lady was presented at the finale of the fifth season of Germany's Next Top Model. The video premiere for the single took place on 11 May 2010 held on the MySpace page of the band, the music channel VIVA showed the clip for the first time on May 12, 2010.

The music video was filmed in Berlin in early May 2010, directed by Thomas Job. The choreography was by Marvin Smith. The video for the single was the first time on 12 May 2010 on VIVA Live! shown after it was seen the day before already on the MySpace page of the band.

The video is divided into three major scenes, each with different costumes. The first scene shows how the band members Senna, Bahar and Mandy dancing in small white tubes. To this end, they wear black catsuits, high heels and studded with mirrors shoulder pads. In another video, there are three dancers and the friend of the band drag queens Olivia O'Hara, Catherine Leclery and Nani Labelle. In the next scene, the girl group is dressed in a red ramp in white costumes with large white shoulder pads and dance with the dancers and white light tubes, which they use as light sabers.
