Liliane Chappuis

Liliane Chappuis (* June 27, 1955 in Fribourg, † 25 June, 2007 Magnedens ) was a Swiss politician (SP).

Chappuis began her political career in 1986 in Magnedens in the canton of Freiburg, where she was elected to the local executive. She was Mayoress in 1996. As a representative of the Social Democrats from 1990 to 1999 Freiburg Grand Council from 1997 to 2002, she was also president of the cantonal party. The Swiss Parliament elections in 1999 she was elected to the National Council.
