Limbonic Art

Limbonic Art (English, limbo Indian Art ', from Latin limbus ) is a black metal band from Sandefjord, Norway. The group combines black metal with keyboard melodies and dark ambient. The keyboard shares were, especially since 1999, significantly scaled back, allowing more space for heavier neat, atmospherically dense song structures became available.

Band History

Limbonic Art was founded in 1993 and was for a short time from a four-person cast. When they parted, they had to choose Daemon ( Vidar Jensen ), who continued the band with Morfeus ( Krister Dreyer ) and forms its core. Daemon took over doing lead vocals, guitars and lyrics, while Morfeus was responsible for Electronics, lead guitar and background vocals. In 1995, the band released their first demo in 1996 another, which was held in the same symphonic style. In the spring of 1996, she signed a contract with record label Nocturnal Art Productions of the Emperor guitarist Samoth - which soon released a promo cassette and in the autumn of her debut album, Moon in the Scorpio. 1997 accompanied Limbonic Art Emperor on a short European tour in 1998 was followed by several concerts in Poland and Denmark, and from 1999, several festivals and tours with other known metal bands. In 2000, Morfeus the side project Dimension F3H, Daemon founded in 2001 Sarcoma Inc. and worked on the debut of Samoths band cyclone. 2003, Limbonic Art disbanded three years later there was a reunion. Then Morfeus also belonged to the occupation of Ancient and helped with Mayhem as a live guitarist. Meanwhile, the band is a one-man project by Daemon, who also composed the new album Phantasmagoria alone and grossed.
