The Lindis River is a river in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand.

He is a left tributary of the Clutha River. It flows over the Lindis Pass 55 km south. The State Highway 8 follows the river valley from the pass until shortly before Tarras and then flows into Lindis Crossing north of Lake Dunstan in the Clutha.
