Lindsey Harding

Lindsey Marcie Harding ( born June 12, 1984 in Mobile, Alabama) is an American basketball player. In 2012 she plays for the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association. The 1.73 meter tall hading is used mainly on the position of the point guards.

After several awards during her high school and college time Harding was selected in the WNBA Draft in 2007 by the Phoenix Mercury in the first place of the draft. The Mercury gave up their rights to Harding to the Minnesota Lynx which, she completed her first year in the WNBA for the Lynx. After two years in Minnesota, she played from 2009 to 2010 for the Washington Mystics, which they still transferred on 11 April 2011 to the Atlanta Dream. With the legend she managed first time in 2011 a place in the WNBA Finals, where they failed because of the Lynx.

Career

College

Lindsey Harding played from 2002 to 2007 for the Blue Devils, the women's basketball team at Duke University. Already in her first season for the Blue Devils, it achieved an average of 6.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game. This first good season earned her a nomination to the All- ACC Freshman team. In the 2003 /04 college season, she already scored 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2 steals per game.
