Linköping University

Linköping University (in Swedish: Linköpings universitet, LiU ) is the 1975 emerged from the University of Linköping University in Sweden. The beginnings of the university are in the year 1963, when the first master's degree programs are offered.

Faculties

Linköping University consists of four faculties

  • Linköping Institute of Technology ( Tekniska högskolan )
  • Faculty of Arts ( Filosofiska fakulteten )
  • Medicine ( Hälsouniversitet ) and
  • Education ( Utbildningsvetenskap )

As well as 23 other departments.

In 1996, a branch of the University teaching on in the neighboring city of Norrköping. 2007, approximately 25,000 students were enrolled at the university, of which about a quarter in Norrköping.
