Lipce, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Lipce ( German name: Liepz ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) in a circle Świdwin.

Geographical Location

Lipce is located seven kilometers south-west of the county town Świdwin and is on a side street about Stary Przybysław ( Pribslaff ) and Oparzno ( Wopersnow ) in the branch on Jezioro Oparzno ( Wopersnower lake ) to reach. The southern site boundary is formed by Rega, the north, the boundary is located at Jezioro Klępnicko ( Glietziger lake). The nearest railway station is in Klepnica ( Glietzig ) on the railway line Stargard - Gdańsk.

History

South of the village Liepz located at the Rega arc remains of an ancient hill fort. In 1394 the village was sold by the family of Wopersnow to the bailiff of Schivelbein. 1540 comes with the Office Schivelbein in the possession of the Knights, which gives it in 1547, the mayor's office and Lower Court.

1602 has wholly or partly belongs to the Official Karthaus the place that is purchased in 1621 by Lorenz wax wood. 1651 Liepz is owned by the sons of wax wood.

In 1736 Liepz has four farmers and - until 1808 - subject to the mill forced the Castle Mill Schivelbein. 1819 takes office Councillor Konraht the duties of a squire in Liepz. 1884 there are no more farmers in the village.

In 1939 120 people live in Liepz in 31 households. The 726.4 -acre manor was farmed by Adrian von Borcke, most recently with a herd of 52 horses, 212 cattle and 180 pigs. The estate was unsurpassed in his successful Remontenzucht and the keeping of livestock herd book. The distillery and dairy were responsible for the utilization of agricultural products.

Liepz belonged until 1945 to the official and the civil registry district Lankow (Polish: Łąkowo ) in the District Court area Schivelbein ( Świdwin ) and was in the district Belgard ( Persante ) ( Białogard ). By 1932 Liepz has belongs to the district Schivelbein until this came up in the district Belgard.

With the arrival of the Russians in early March 1945 in the village and began in the fall of 1945, the expulsion of the German population, the life ended in Liepz. The place came under the name Lipce in Polish hands and is now a part of Gmina Świdwin in - again resurrected - Circle Schivelbein.

Church

Liepz had no church of their own. The village was with Klemzow (Polish: Klępczewo ) Lankow ( Łąkowo ), low Göhle ( Gola Dolna ), Upper Göhle ( Gola Gorna ) and Wussow ( Osowo ) in the parish Wopersnow the parish. It belonged to the church district Schivelbein in the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union. Lords of the manor of Adrian Borcke recently served the church patronage for Liepz. Last German minister was Pastor Kurt Lemke.

Today Lipce belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
