Lipnik, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Lipnik ( German Lindenberg ) is a village near the city of Stargard ( Stargard i Pom. ) In Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Lipnik located in Pomerania, about five kilometers west of the center of Stargard and 27 kilometers east of Szczecin as well as halfway between the villages Grzędzice ( Seefeld) in the north and Kunowo ( Kunow a. / Street ) in the south.

History

The separate residence with the name Lindenberg in the community Kunow on the road was built before 1834 under the control of the landlord and peasant relations at the request of the landowner David Schonfeldt, the Swabia built its residential and necessary outbuildings. The place name comes from some hills that exist in the former Gutsbezirk. For Good Lindenberg was the expansion Nix. In 1905, Lindenberg had 59 inhabitants.

The district of the estate had in the early 1930s a size of 354 hectares. 1939 23 horses, 156 cattle and 1,000 sheep were held. The estate belonged to a church and a sand-lime brick factory. In addition to the Good Lindenberg included five residential buildings in which the families of cottagers lived.

By 1945, Lindenberg belonged to the district of Pomerania in Pomerania.

Towards the end of World War II Kunow was occupied with the district Lindenberg early March 1945 by the Soviet Army. After the war, the village was as Lipnik part of Poland.

Religion

The population before 1945 in Lindenberg present belonged to far with the overwhelming majority of the Protestant denomination. The Protestants from Lindenberg belonged to the evangelical parish Kunow a. / Street, the Catholics to the Catholic parish Stargard i Pom ..

The Church of Lindenberg was built in 1924-1926 and was part of the property of the estate. Before the church was a Luther Linde.
