List of demons in the Ars Goetia

Aamon (also Amon ) is one of the assistants Astoroths in Christian demonology. He is mentioned in both the Council of Braga and in the Ars Goetia.

He has knowledge of the past and the future, which he passes on to the concluding a pact with Satan. According to some authors there are 40 legions of demons under his command. There are no generally valid representation of him. Sometimes he is represented as owl -headed man, sometimes as a human with wolf head and snake tail.

Demonologists bring him in connection with the Egyptian god Amun or the god Baal Hammon, the Carthaginians.
