By Fyodor Dostoyevsky several hundred letters are received, the form for the Russian Studies is an important source and the majority are also published today. The corpus includes official, business and personal letters. The letters are addressed to a wide range of different people. Addressees, the most frequently occur in the corpus, are Mikhail Mikhailovich Dostoevsky ( brother ), Anna G. Dostoyevskaya (wife ), Mikhail Katkov, NA Lyubimov ( physicist ), Apollon Maikov ( poet ), Alexei Pleschtschejew, Nikolai Strakhov, Ivan Turgenev, Alexander Wrangel, Stepan Janowski and Polina Suslova.
