LitoboÅ™

Litoboř is a municipality in the Czech Republic. The village lies in the valley of the brook Hluboký creek and belongs to Okres Náchod.

History

The origins of the village date back to the second half of the 12th century, when this part of northern Bohemia, a powerful noble family, the Hronowitz of Glatz belonged. The name of the head of this noble family is reflected in the name of the village resist ( Lutobor → Litoboř ). The oldest part of the village was Torino, this fortress was first mentioned in 1369.

The community Litoboř consists only of the village and the settlement Litoboř V Tabore ( Tabor ).
