Locmaria-Plouzané

Locmaria- Plouzané ( Breton Lokmaria - Plouzane ) is a commune with 4816 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère.

Location

The municipality is located in close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean coast at the Côte des Abers and the Bay of Brest ( Rade de Brest). Brest is located 12 kilometers east of Paris and about 520 kilometers east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Brest the European route end 60 (Brest -Nantes ) and the European Route 50 (Brest - Rennes). The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris as well as the regional train lines in the direction of Rennes and Nantes. Close to the capital city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
