Lodewijk Roembiak

Lodewijk " Lody " Roembiak ( born May 18, 1969 in Leiden) is a former Dutch football player. The midfielder was considered a migrant bird: Among other things, he played in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey, with more than ten different clubs.

In Germany Roembiak gained notoriety as a player of Werder Bremen in the season 1998 /99. Under Wolfgang Sidka as a coach, he was first team regular, but he could under Felix Magath not put more feet after a break due to injury in Bremen. In the following seasons Roembiak was therefore awarded to FC Aarau and on the SV Waldhof Mannheim.

He was Roembiak was considered a technically good player and excellent flank donor, criticized, however, for his weakness and his running temporary overweight.

Coaching career

After his playing career was Roembiak coach and coached from 2005 to 2010, the C- VV youth of the SDS. In 2010, he followed the call of the A- youth coach of the VV BBC to work. On March 19, 2012, he moved to city rivals VV Bergum and trained there the second team.
