Lojane

Lojane ( Alb. Llojan, mkd. Лојане ) is an Albanian village in Macedonia. Lojane belongs to the municipality Lipkovo ( Alb. Likova ) and is located north of Kumanovo directly on the border with Serbia against the members of the community Presevo place Miratovac.

The village was built on a mountain pass called " Kulishte ". With time, however, they also went because of lack of space and continuous improvements in the population ever in the lowlands in the fields, which contributes to within about 1 km lie the neighboring villages. To the north is Miratovac, Presevo (Serbia ), in the south Vaksince, to the west a vast mountains and east of the border crossing Tabanovce.

History

Lojane is an ancient village which is precisely mentioned in the fourteenth century in 1332.

The mosque was in 1816 after the Albanian people converted to Islam, built. Later in 1971 and 1987, it held renovation work.
