London Grammar

London Grammar is a three-piece British indie pop band. It consists of Hannah Reid, Dot Major and Dan Rothman.

History

Singer and guitarist Reid Rothman got to the dorm Nottingham University to know. In 2009, she founded London Grammar and were initially only as a cover band. After Major was added drummer joined the group, created his first own songs. It was followed by other local performances in front of a small audience in most cases, but the band remained largely unknown.

In December 2012, the three musicians published on the internet their first single Hey Now, with them the breakthrough. In February 2013, the EP Metal & Dust came on the market. With the single Wasting My Young Years the band in June 2013 reached the British charts for the first time. The debut album If You Wait appeared on 9 September 2013.
