London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games ( LOCOG ) was responsible for the planning and organization of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in London in 2012. It was supported by the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the British Olympic Association and created the Mayor of London on 3 October 2005. The LOCOG had the legal form of a private company limited by guarantee, and worked closely with the public sector Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA ) together. His office was in the building LOCOG One Churchill Place at Canary Wharf.
