Loučka (Vsetín District)

Loučka ( German Lauczka, 1939-1945 Wiesbaden ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eleven kilometers southwest of Valašské Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Vsetín.

Geography

Loučka is located at the foot of Hostýnské mountains in the hills of Kelčská pahorkatina. The village is situated at the northern foot of the Hradiště (604 m) on a hill overlooking the valleys of the streams Loučka and Komarnik. To the east rise the Petříkovec (532 m) and the Hurka ( 557 m), in the southeast Skalka (480 m ) south of the Čertův kámen (612 m) and Hradiště (604 m), in the southwest of the Kunovická Hurka ( 587 m) and Vrcha (408 m ) and west of Straz ( 433 m). North of the village the railway from Valašské Meziříčí goes according Holešov, the local station is named Kunovice - Loučka.

Neighboring towns are Kelč and Komárovice in the north, Vrchovec, Police and Branky in the northeast, Oznice in the east, Podolí Lázy the southeast, Polomsko, Paseky Rajnochovice and Juhyně in the south, Podhradní Lhota in the southwest, Komárno in the west and Kunovice and Lhota in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the episcopal diocese Kelč associated village Łuczka took place in 1307 in connection with the vassal Jan von Łuczka. Łuczka formed an independent Lehnherrschaft of Olomouc diocese, which was struck in 1527 under the Knights of Tamfeld the neighboring fief Podolí. At the transition from the 16th to the 17th century, the Knights of Tamfeld Łuczka could create a Renaissance castle and manor. Because participation in the uprising of the ownership of the Tamfeld was confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain. In 1718 the city was designated as Laucžka. 1778 originated in Loučka own school. The owner of the domain changed often. They included, inter alia, Leopold von Lamberg, the Laucžka 1803. Originating from Konstanz to Johann Nepomuk Mohrenweiser Mohrenweiser, who was raised in 1804 to knighthood, the rule led to a flowering. From a fountain at the foot of Hradiště he had a wooden water pipe to the manor to create. Until 1849, the rule Laucžka belonged to Přerov circle.

After the abolition of patrimonial Laucžka formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Valašské Meziříčí. The large estates Laucžka 1871 deleted from the episcopal Lehnsverbund. Since 1874 the current name of locality is used Loučka. 1884 destroyed by the great fire parts of the village. To the estate until 1900 included a brewery. At the beginning of the 20th century founded J. Matocha a small hosiery factory. The district road from Loučka about Podolí after Lázy was completed in 1905. In 1918 Tomáš Bata acquired the goods, he was followed from 1933, his widow Marie Baťová. After the abolition of Okres Valašské Meziříčí Loučka in 1960 associated with the Okres Vsetín. 1980 were incorporated Podolí Lázy, five years later still followed Kunovice and policy. Up to Lázy in 1990 all districts broke off again and again since then form their own communities.

  • Cemetery chapel, built in 1826 under Johann Nepomuk Knights of Mohrenweiser as grave chapel
  • Castle Loučka, it emerged in 1720 through the conversion of the Renaissance castle of the Knights Tamfeld to a small baroque palace chapel. In the years 1769 and 1803, it was remodeled. The castle was transferred in restitution to Tomáš Bata John 1999. This could erode the system and partially restore the park. Instead of the left wing of Bata build an inappropriate country house, the main building is located in a highly dilapidated condition.
