Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, Duke of Penthièvre

Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, Duke of Penthièvre ( born November 16, 1725 Château de Rambouillet, Rambouillet, † March 4, 1793 at Castle Bizy Vernon ) was Duke of Penthièvre, Châteauvillain and Rambouillet (since 1737) and Count of Eu, Duke of Gisors, Aumale and Amboise ( since 1775 ); sevenfold peer of France; Knights of the Duchy of Savoy - Carignan, United Jägermeister and Grand Admiral of France; Governor of Brittany.

Life

Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon- Penthièvre was a grandson of Louis XIV from the connection with the Marquise de Montespan. His father was Louis -Alexandre de Bourbon, comte de Toulouse ( * June 6, 1678; † December 1, 1737 ).

The Duke was the last heir of all the legitimate prince of the richest private man in France. It was 1737 United Jägermeister and Grand Admiral of France and governor of Brittany.
