Louis-Vincent-Joseph Le Blond de Saint-Hilaire

Louis -Vincent -Joseph Le Blond, Comte de Saint- Hilaire ( born September 4, 1766 Ribemont, Aisne, † June 5, 1809 ) was a French army commander during the Napoleonic Wars.

Hilaire was the son of Captain. He showed an early interest in a military career. In 1777 he joined as a cadet in the Conti Cavalry Regiment, one of the renowned cavalry units of the ancien regime, a. In 1792 he was promoted to captain in this regiment.
