Louis Wilkins

Louis Gary Wilkins (* December 10, 1882, † April 6, 1950 ) was an American athlete who was successful as a pole vaulter at the beginning of the 20th century. He took part in St. Louis at the Olympic Games in 1904.

For pole vault finals were six Americans and the German Paul Weinstein. Olympic champion Charles Dvorak with the Olympic record of 3.50 m. The four runners finished the race with all skipped 3.35 m. Wilkins was awarded 3rd place behind LeRoy Samse.

In 1904, Wilkins was Louis with 10-5.25 American vice-champion.
