Loužnice

Loužnice ( German Louschnitz, also Louznitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-east of Jablonec nad Nisou and belongs to Okres Jablonec nad Nisou.

Geography

The place is located in the Jizera Mountains in the valley of the brook Kopaňský creek. By Loužnice State Road 10/ 65 European road leads from Turnov to Harrachov.

Neighboring towns are Kopan and Zásada in the north, Držkov in the northeast, and Radčice Jílové u Držkova the southeast, Zelezny Brod Jirkov and in the south, Těpeře, Dupanda and Chlístov the southwest, Bratrikov in the west and Pěnčín and Huť in the northwest.
