Lovčica-Trubín

Lovčica - Trubín is a town in central Slovakia northwest of the city Žiar nad Hronom.

Geography

The municipality is located in the northwestern parts of the Holy Cross basin ( Ziarska kotlina ) in the valley of the brook Trubín. In the corridors of the place arises from a so-called sour wells.

History

The municipality was created on July 9, 1971 by the union of the places Lovčica ( Kleinlotza German, Hungarian Kislócsa ) and Trubín ( Trubein German, Hungarian Garamkürtos ). Lovčica lies to the east and the west of the double Trubín place.

Attractions

Worth seeing in the district Trubín is the original Gothic church of Maria Madalena 1487 and the Chapel of the Holy Trinity from 1723. Lovčica In one finds a chapel from the 18th century.

Traffic

In June 1947, the bus was Sv. Kríž nad Hronom ( Holy Cross at the yarn ) - Lovčica - Chapel - Handlová ( Krickerhau ) - Prievidza ( Priwitz ) and back built.
