Lowell Lewis

Lowell Lyttleton Lewis ( born August 18, 1952) is a politician and former Chief Minister of Montserrat.

He is one of the founders of today led by him Montserrat Democratic Party ( MDP) and already held various government offices.

Chief Minister Lewis was dated 2 June 2006 to 10 September 2009., He led a coalition composed of the MDP, the New People's Liberation Movement ( NPLM ) and one independent MP and was also Minister of Tourism. Its stated objectives included the revival of tourism of Montserrat, after the island had been devastated by volcanic eruptions in the 90s.
