Loxahatchee River

The Loxahatchee River is a river in Palm Beach County in the U.S. state of Florida.

Its source is located about two kilometers west of Interstate 95 in Riverbend Park. After about 12 km, it crosses at Jupiter the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Since 17 May 1985, he stands as a National Wild and Scenic River under special protection and is adjacent to the Wekiva River is one of two rivers in Florida that are performed under that name.
