Ľuboš Hanzel

Ľuboš Hanzel ( born May 7, 1987 in Zavar ) is a Slovak football player. His preferred position is left defender.

Career

Association

Hanzel began his career at FC Spartak Trnava, where he belonged to the senior squad in 2004. By January 2008, he arrived there on 38 missions in the Corgoň league, but was then loaned for half a year to FC Senec. In the 2008 /09 season he played again for Spartak Trnava. In August 2009, it borrowed after he had already completed four league games in Slovakia, with the option to take the FC Schalke 04 until the end of the first round from him for another two and a half year contract.

On December 12, 2009 Hanzel came in the game with Werder Bremen for his first Bundesliga use for Schalke 04 when he came on in the 90th minute for Jefferson Farfán. The option to continued employment was not perceived after the first round, so Hanzel returned to his former employer.

In January 2013 Hanzel joined the Polish first division Jagiellonia Białystok. He signed a three-year contract by the end of December 2015. In May 2013, the contract was prematurely dissolved by mutual consent.

National

On June 6, 2009 in Bratislava Hanzel gave his debut in the national team. In the 7-0 victory over San Marino in the World Cup qualifiers he played for the whole 90 minutes and scored the seventh goal for his team.
