Łubowo, Greater Poland Voivodeship

Łubowo ( German: Lubowo, 1875-1919, 1939-1945 Liepāja ) is a village and seat of the rural community in Poland. The place is located in the powiat Gnieźnieński the Wielkopolska Region.

Lednica

The parish includes the southern half of the lake Lednica and is the island Lednica (52 ° 31 ' 33 " N, 17 ° 22' 39" E ) 52.525817.3775. In the founding period of Poland under Mieszko I here there was an important administrative center. It is one of the possible locations of the baptism of Mieszko, with the Christianization of Poland began. The castle is also the first seat of the first bishop in Poland, Jordanes.
